Sermon: Something a little different this week. I want to introduce you to Francis Schaeffer, a theologian, philosopher, and cultural observer of a half century ago. His thought and writings have influenced me greatly, primarily through a book by Nancy Pearcey entitled Total Truth. In the late 70’s Schaeffer produced a 10-part series for television called “How Then Shall We Live?” now available on YouTube. Part history, part cultural critique, I think if you can look past his quirky looks and the cinematography of the 70’s, you’ll really enjoy this.
