Sermon: Last week I listened to this sermon from Southern Seminary’s chapel series, Dr. Adam Howell working through Isaiah 44:9-20. Dr. Howell is a Hebrew scholar who I know from The Daily Dose of Hebrew, which is a daily 2-minute video translating a verse of the OT. You can check that out here if you want to get a sense for what Psalm 119 sounded like as it was written. Anyway, this is a terrific sermon and Dr. Howell really obliterates the stereotype for Hebrew professors by being very much not boring and very convicting. It’s really good. For what it’s worth (maybe not much!), I preached through this text over a decade ago one Sunday evening at Grasston Baptist Church, and the audio can be found here.

Song from Clark: Shanna Nehring introduced me to this duo some time back. This is their Psalm 86 inspired song. Also, you should recognize their “See the Conqueror”
