Sermon: John Piper always dedicates (or at least, he did for many years) the final session to a biographical sketch. This one is dedicated to the life of Charles Simeon, British minister in the late 1700’s and early 1800’s. His story is fascinating and instructive, and I think you’ll enjoy it. The title gives you some idea of what’s coming: Brothers, We Must Not Mind a Little Suffering. The recording dates back 35 years, so there’s no video. But it’s totally worth listening!
