FAMILY MINISTRY NIGHT AT LEWIS LAKE!
(Taking a break until the new year)
In the book of Acts 2:42 we read this verse:
They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer
*Every other Wednesday Night*, we invite you
to come together to follow their example!
1. 6:30 p.m. - We do the fellowship
and the breaking of bread as we enjoy a potluck meal.
If you wish, you can come
right from work and eat supper with us. It*s a great time of connecting
with
each other and enjoying that necessary evening meal!
2. 7:00 p.m. - We do the apostle's
teaching and prayer. There are groups for kids and young teens,
as well as
adults. We spend an hour reflecting on the Word of God and His work in our
lives. We wrap
things up at 8:00 so we can get the kids home and into bed on
time.
We really want to make this a time for our kids to hang around our adults and
have the chance to be
encouraged in their faith during the week! So load the car
up with kids and get ready for another season
of that ministry that we call
242!!
WE DO
"ORGANIZED" POTLUCKS FOR THE 242 SUPPERS
If you will bring something for the meal, sign
up in the fellowship hall or call the church office (320-396-3293) by Tuesday
afternoon of 242 week. OTHERWISE JUST WAIT TO SIGN UP FOR THE NEXT 242!
This is a mixed group of men and women who
gather regularly in the Church sanctuary. Time is spent reviewing
and
updating past and new requests, and prayer follows.
The group is open to all who wish to attend, whenever they are able to do so. Your presence alone is sufficient - praying aloud is not a requirement.
Weekly meetings - Wednesdays at 4:30 PM - are
the norm, but it would be a good idea to contact Rick
Anderson
to make sure.
TRUE NORTH ADULT BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The Group meets at the home of Les & Sue Nielsen, north of Ogilvie on Co. Rd. 6. Telephone: 320 272-6602.
This group meets at
10:00 AM on Friday mornings at Church. If you are not a regular, check the
calendar or call
the Church office to verify the meeting, as some weeks are
canceled in deference to Pastor Bob's schedule.
